Worst Launch Ever Samsung ZFold5, ZFlip5, Watch 6 Pro, Tab S9

For a company whose operating profit plunged 96%, this has to be the worst show ever.

PRODUCTS - Offer nothing notably more that tweaks

COST - Absolutely laughable even with codes and free buds.

INNOVATION - Nothing.

As a family owning multiple devices across the Samsung spectrum, ots basically a wait until the 6 series fold, flip, watch 7, no sign of buds3 of LC3 audio promised at launch on the buds2 pro.

One example even if I wished to upgrade my ZFold4 currently £36 after a Zfold3 trade in with the Samsung Upgrade scheme, now means £175 up front and £58 over 25 mths ??? for a device offering little to nothing.

It's looking like a 99% operating profit hit next month.

I was set to upgrade me to the ZFold 5, Watch 6 Pro, Buds 3 Pro, Ring and my wife and son to the Flip 5, Watch 6, Tab S9 Pro and Buds 3 Pro.

No Buds3 Pro, no Ring, the rest are like Apple saying here is the new iPhone 14 IN GREEN, its as lame on that at every level, even paid reviewers are struggling to be unbiased.

No amount of fake, lovie influencers, ads, coupon, freebies will work, It all just rubbishes the brand.

I kind of agree with you there. I suppose, now that the form factors have been set, the scope for innovation goes down (or at least there is no urgency) and improvements, if any will come via the software.

Happy to see the rotating bezel back on Watch 6 Classic, but disappointed with the hardware and the pricing.

The more I read the specification and reviews the sadder it gets, even the software has nothing new, if anything just past promised features case in watch 5 temperature sensor.

The side by side specification reviews for all the top review sites, note most are usually paid reviews or sweetners, "I received all the products FREE for an HONEST review 😀 are struggling, simple the vs table of specification lays bare aside from new colours, a hinge that hopefully more robust, that's it.

Some are honest enough to say, grab a prior generation at a discount or wait until next year.

Very good point, a few times Samsung has nailed a product and I never bothered upgraded for 2 years, like the S4, S6, S20 mobiles.

The latest releases will be very enticing for people who like these form factors or are on the early versions of the Z series and are looking for an upgrade.

One thing that I liked about Flip 5, is the increase in the cover screen size and can imagine that a lot of people would want to opt for this phone. In the US they have sweetened the exchange deal massively and from what I read on the internet, after the exchange, the cost of the new device comes to just $99. It's a pity that the EU does not get such deals.

To be honest I agree to a certain extent. However with the tabs at least they are all OLED which to me is a reason to upgrade my tab s7. As for the phones yes there isn't alot of change. The prices are getting silly these days. I always said I will never by an ultra samsung phone because they are too expensive. My s23 ultra in my hand is a woping £1400. Is it a great phone? Yes. Is it worth £1400? Absolutely not. Why did I buy it? Because it only cost me £850 with various offers and codes and the trade in of cheap a nasty phone that I got £150 for. Truth is all the tech companies are doing the same.
