software update? caused my samsung z flip 6 to glitch few times with SYSTEM INTERFACE NOT RESPONDING and then main screen died.

Today few times my phone glitched with info that SYSTEM INTERFACE is not responding and then i click STOP APP, and it restored itself for 3 times (happened ONLY today 3 times) and on 4th it did not woke up the main (big screen) - phone works good, I got all the notifications etc on small screen but obviously small screen is ***** useless when you want to do a backup or connect your phone with other phone etc... Did anyone had the same issue? I bought this phone on 13/09/2024 and until few glitches in january/february after software update it was behaving GOOD until today 11:58 AM. Im crushed and heartbroken. I was at the office and me and IT guys cannot figure anything. It did not reacted to monitor and now when I used cable for sending pics i simply cannot accept it via small screen. Im heartbroken. I trusted Samsung and payed half of my salary for this phone, and after half year it is not usable.

Hello 👋 @n3rdyn4

Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum Section for UK and Ireland Members.

I'm sorry to hear your experienced those issues.

May I suggest to perform a forum search as you may find already existing threads with help and advice within.

If the below steps do not help then please let a Samsung Service Centre have hands on.

A couple of generic troubleshooting steps are >

  • 1. First turn the phone Off and On i.e a Soft Reboot, but if that does not help then follow this by trying a forced reboot by holding down the volume down key and power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.
  • 2. Use the Optimisation Tool 🔧 found in your Samsung Members App.
  • 3. Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port or a usb-c to usb-c phone to phone set up to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎
