My ZFold is not working as it should , when I open it , the screen is blank, I close it and it takes 5 seconds for something to appear on screen 

Various software messages appear including UI not responding etc

Should I reset as I think the updates have something to do with it or is there something else I can do 

This problem only started today, I've not dropped it , it immaculate so I'm unsure why?

An option is Yes is to perform a factory reset after backing up if the following does not work @Nilok 

If all the above fail to resolve this then please do use a Samsung Service Centre.

Please take Time and Date stamped photo's of the phone, with one of the phone turned On,  and one of the phone's water indicator which maybe located in the sim tray slot before sending the phone off to Samsung { Add adequate in-transit insurance } which is to be able to prove the phone's aesthetic condition, or surrendering the phone to a Samsung Experience Store representative.

Hi.

It's just an arrow in the dark.

I feel there is a possibility with the folding phones that over time of use, the screens might come apart or loosen contact somewhere creating issue.

I would personally have to check at a Samsung centre if possible to rule that out.

I am currently trying out the latest zflip6, which seems to be better in terms of durability.

So if you are on an older device maybe consider getting the latest model.

Also would love to know which model you have and your experience using it over time as I am currently loving it.
