Why is DeX not supported on the Z Flip 6?

There is no actual reason why DeX is not supported for the Z Flip 6. I would like a reason why. DeX is supported on the S24 series phones but not Z Flip 6. Even though they have the same exact processor, only differences are design and cameras along with Battery for the higher end S24's

That's going to be have to be a question for Samsung via the Samsung Members App.

OK so according to you there are no material differences between S Series and Flip series?

Let's start with software........

If the two series were the same, they would have the same functions.

They aren't and they don't... 👏 as Dex appears to work but in a different format.

As a ZFLIP3,4,5 and 6 this has been my disappointment with the ZFLIP range, I was told the processor and heat design can't handle it, all the ZFOLD range has DeX.

My guess is the split battery layout is maybe the culprit.

Note there is a DeX version you can use, DeX light but it is basically screen mirroring with a cable.

I used to use Force Desktop Mode on My Z Flip 6 with cable connected to a monitor on One UI7. But After One UI8 update, we lost this feature. I couldn't manage to use it, only mirroring is available. How can we have Dex or Desktop Mode with our Z Flip 6/One UI 8?

I would also like to know what else we can do to activate desktop mode or dex on the new 8UI update? Seems like a downgrade

This is ridiculous, I would have never updated to UI8 if I knew it removed DeX. Samsung we need a fix to this!
