Samsung z flip 3 galaxy watch promotion

I see that there is a new Samsung galaxy watch 4 promotion to anyone that has bought the Z flip 3 phone. But the start date was 17th (today) but I have bought mine on the 10th. Was I too earlier!? I'm very gutted. I have tried but it says about the dates 😞 is there anyway they can let me claim this? Thank you.

The eligibility dates are set @TLally with no leeway from Samsung.

I'm sending mine back Monday then I will just reorder, got it on the 16th offer started in the UK on the 17th direct form Samsung

That's certainly an option @welshmanJay 

You'll lose the free Samsung Care+ that was given free for a year when pre ordering the Flip3.

I didn't pre order I ordered it on the 15th so return and reorder is a bit of hassle yes but for a free £250 watch it's definitely worth doing

That's fair enough.

I'm assuming the return process is the same as when I sent back a phone in that Samsung arrange dpd to collect the parcel. Then Samsung accept it back into their returns department , assessed, with the refund taking around 7-10 working days.

Edit. Take time and date stamped pictures of the phone with one of it turned on.

I spoke to samsung today they tried there best to make me think about it and phone back on Monday with my decision they said the returns were already full for Monday as they have been overwhelmed with calls from people wanting to return so they can reorder and claim the free watch

All those opened and used Flip3 phones potentially being returned due to this new promotion  😞

Samsung would have been better honouring the watch to those still within their 28 Cooling Off Period who then contacted them and asked to initiate a return.
