Z Fold 3, touch screen not working

Hi, my wife just got the new z fold 3 and the touch screen is not working. This is the second phone we have tried. The first z fold did the same thing so we went back to att and they sent us a new phone but the new phone is still doing the same thkngWe transferred her iPhone stuff to the new phone and at some point during the upload the screen became unresponsive. The phone turns on with the power button but you cannot swipe up to unlock the phone. We have restarted it by holding the power button and volume down button but still nothing. Any help?

Is this the outer or inner screen your having issues with @Sterling609  ?

Can you factory reset it and reset it up but without using your back up 

i.e as a new phone  ?

It's both screens having issues. 

Is there a way to factory reset without going into settings on the phone?

Thank you! Going through that post worked and I was able to wipe the phone and start from new. Thank you again!
