My Fold 3 is only few days old so it was quite a shock to see a blinking dead pixel on a new device. Wonder if I will get a replacement?

That is if I can get hold of their none existence customer service.  No email acknowledgment, no one answering the phone, no nothing.  😂

The email address above is for the Samsung Online Store.

When I had to return a phone I emailed the same address and recieved an automated reply and then a manned reply a short time later asking for full details etc.

I was expecting an automated reply as well but it didn't happen.

After a little rant earlier, I have now received a replay offering me either a refund or  a replacement.  But it will take 7-10days for a new phone to arrive if I opt for the replacement option.  Now, the decision time!

Look at this way if you return it for a refund then dpd will collect and return to Samsung.

Samsung will assess it and then issue the refund in around 10 working days.

So either way the lead time is the same.

If you liked the phone then perhaps consider the replacement although that may mean your initial 28 days cooling off period will just continue.

If you opt for a refund and then place a new order then your 28 day cooling off period will restart @j123456789

Definitely take the refund and start a fresh order I would say. Its a bit ridiculous, if its gone wrong within 28 days you should just get a straight replacement no questions asked

Try dead pixel fix from the Play Store. Heard it is quite a good app, so sounds like you should try it out! 😁

I would opt for the refund since going for the replacement means that when you receive the replacement if you are really unlucky and it has some sort of problem you are out of the 14 days return window.

Let us know what you choose to do in the end :winking-face:

I decided to go for a replacement, simply because I will lose  free1 yr Samsung care +  if I get a refund and place another order.  Hopefully everything will be sorted within 2 weeks. 😴
