My Fold 3 is only few days old so it was quite a shock to see a blinking dead pixel on a new device. Wonder if I will get a replacement?

My wife's flip 3 also  has dead pixels, and we just got it 3 weeks ago. 😡

that is unfortunate, you should go for the warranty policy to get the panel or the device replaced. Unfortunately this sort of things can happen on a brand new device from time to time, it can affect a very small percentage and this time it happened to you.

I remember my galaxy s5 panel blacking out after 1 month of usage in 2014, luckily it was replaced under warranty and that panel works still now with no burned pixels.

Let us know how it turns out :winking-face:

Try to test colour panels by dialing *#0*# in your phone app to see if that shakes the pixel back to life.

If that does not help then seek support from a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre or if available in your region a doorstep repair @United Arab emirates

You have stuck pixels not dead pixels. Stuck pixels are always on and are typically green, blue, or red and they can be fixed. Dead pixels are black and can possibly spread. You have stuck pixels based on photo. Download pixel detector and fix app, and let it run for a few hours. If nothing else and you can’t take it anymore try to reset device, as it’s a software problem.

I've had exactly the same issue, now Samsung are saying the phone is damaged and not covered by warranty! 😡Which is interesting as the issue is exactly the same as everyone is experiencing here.  I can understand devices fail, but warranty dodging is not expected from this premium brand.  Confidence in the brand is massively dented.

I have exactly the same issue. Forged my phone last week.... Green pixel stuck !!

Been to the Samsung shop today and they say it's damaged. Probably a rock in the phone when I closed it...as if !!!! Sending it to Samsung for a second opinion.
