Why cant i connect my s9 to my windows laptop via Bluetooth. Can someone please help

@Stevenotts: Do you have Bluetooth enabled on both devices? On your S9, go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth, and make sure that this is toggled on, then enable Bluetooth on your laptop. Select the laptop from the list of available connections on your phone, and you should be good to go. If not, can you confirm if you are getting any error messages? Also, what was the purpose of establishing the connection e.g .transferring files? In the meantime, why not check out the link below for steps on using your Galaxy phone with a Windows PC.

Thank you for your reply regarding Bluetooth. I have now got my phone connected via (your phone ) but as for Bluetooth my pc says connected but my phone say cannot connect. I also cannot connect my handset my phone says need to download the app but it is already download. everything else has connected
