Hi all!
With WhatsApp being a third-party app (from a Samsung perspective), it's always possible there could be an intermittent issue that's preventing chats from being backed up and transferred to a new phone.
In the first instance, I recommend having a look at the steps provided in the helpful guide below:
https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-back-up-or-restore-whatsapp-data/
I expect that this will help you to back up and restore your WhatsApp data. If it doesn't, it would be a good idea to reach out to WhatsApp's Support Team for additional assistance.
Please update the thread and let us know whether the guide helps or, if not, what helped you back up and restore the data.

So I contacted Samsung (Chat and they sent me to an authorized technician). Went there and the guy tells me, "We do not deal with software issue, I do not know why Samsung sent to us".
He was still nice enough to run diagnostics and everything came out fine.
I am back with Samsung and they basically told me that the issue is with Whatsapp. I tried reaching out to Whatsapp and got an email saying, "...allow up to 3 days".
My phone would not connect via wifi to the old phone. So I tried Google drive restore and it stops at 99% and gives an error message.
I also tried the long process of downloading database and media folders from old phone to PC and PC to new phone (PC showed 23 hours. haha).
Whatsapp stalled again.

I can't download WhatsApp, after backing up the chats on my old phone, I put the SIM back in the new one and since I can't open WhatsApp I uninstalled it, now I can't reinstall it

The operation Settings > Apps > WhatsApp; clear cache, delete, has to be done one Older Phone Note 9 for example and new Samsung S25 or only the Samsung S25 . Knowing that Samsung S25 has a new Whatsapp installed and not used.

You said that we need to make the operation Settings > Apps > WhatsApp; clear cache, delete, . has it to be done one Older Phone Note 9 for example and new Samsung S25 or only the Samsung S25? Knowing that Samsung S25 has a new Whatsapp installed and not used. Did any body tried this? S25 become a nightmare because of Whatsapp and Samsung cannot ignore this issue. Whatsapp Support are not serious especially that they send Weird answers as if they did not read our question.
