Weaker signal since latest update

I recently updated the phone's software and my phone signal appears to have worsened, going from full strength before to now 2-3 bars.

Has anyone else noticed this?

@KFN: Are you experiencing signal issues in all locations, or just certain ones? If you press and hold the Side button > Restart, do you notice an improvement?

Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum. 

No my phone still is at full bars and ⁵g in most places I go to. 

There is a diagnostic tool 🔧 found in your Samsung Members App to see if that highlights anything. 

First turn the phone Off and On i.e a Soft Reboot, but if that does not help then follow this by trying a forced reboot by holding down the volume down key and power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.

You can reset the Network via Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Mobile Network Connection.

Primarily notice it in my house where I used to get full signal. Some areas of my house now get no signal at all. I tried to restart and reset network settings but the issue continues. Even on my last 5yr old phone, I'd get signal throughout my house.

@KFN: Do you have a case or cover on the phone? If so, please try removing it temporarily, as it could possibly be obstructing the antenna. I also recommend contacting your network directly to enquire about any known issues with the service in your area.

I do have a case but have had one since I had the phone. Tried it without the case but no difference. I've checked with my operator and there is no reported errors in my area but I have also raised a support ticket with them.

I also have the same problem since the February 28 2025 update. At home and work I used to have 5 network bar and now it's at 1 network bar. I tried the sim card in other phones and it works perfectly, just doesn't work with my Samsung S21 FE 5G.  I tried everything the bot said in Tech Support, they are pretty much just trolling at this point. Since this is obvious planned obsolescence, if the problem is not solved in the next month update I will definitely bring Samsung in court since my phone is barely useable at the most important places that I need it and it is caused by their update. I have a feeling many people probably have this problem, a class-action might be needed if ever that's a case. Looking forward not to go this route but if it's not fixed I have no other choice.

Same issues. I upgraded from s24 Ultra to S25 Ultra..Latest software.. now I have so many dead spots in my house, which were perfect on the 24 Ultra. Wonder whether it isr is a hardware or software issue? Will be gutted if it's hardware.. It takes 2-3 days to move all the apps and log in credentials and set up everything
