Hi everyone,
I just got my Galaxy S25 Ultra, and I’ve noticed that my Wi-Fi connection speed drops to 1 Mbps or even 0 Mbps at times. (Upload & Download Speed)
At first, I thought it might be an issue with my internet provider, but after running side-by-side speed tests with my old S22 Ultra, I found that the S22 gets normal speeds. I also tested my laptop, and it had the same stable speed as the S22 Ultra.
I checked the Wi-Fi settings on both the S22 and S25 Ultra to see if there were any differences, but everything looks the same. I also tried forgetting and reconnecting to the Wi-Fi on my S25 Ultra, which temporarily fixed the issue, but the speed eventually dropped again.
Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone know how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

I was having this same issue and was quite frustrating getting only 0.8 speeds. I phoned tech support and long story short it was that automatic channel scanning was disabled on the router so it kept the phone on a congested chanel.
The agent changed that and refreshed the router and instant I went to 500mbps. Worth trying

I also experienced a slow connection with my S25 Ultra. With my S23 Ultra, I can get up to 600 Mbps on my 5 GHz network, but with my S25 Ultra, most of the time, I only get 350 Mbps. It's really frustrating. It feels like the connection gets stuck at that speed, but sometimes it breaks through and reaches the same speed as my S23 Ultra.

Ive just got the Ultra S25 too and found my tethering really slow on my 5g sim
I inherited the settings from my old Note 10 +5g and so the settings where 5g preferred.
If you slide the setting bar to 2.4 & 5G, then it will pick up 5G automatically.
This then increased my speed from as low as 1.4 mbps to over 30 mbps

Samsung S25 ultra: The issue is the same—poor Wi-Fi reception 10' from the router. The other two phones, an S24 and an S23, both and have great but have great Wi-Fi reception. Samsung, you know there is an issue. Let's fix this. We all know it has nothing to do with the router.
