Very slow wifi

Just bought the Samsung S25 Ultra and I have noticed the wifi speeds are very slow. Struggles to go above 200mbps. 

On my galaxy tab s9 and other devices I get 1gig speeds (none are on the UI 7) except s25 ultra

Is there a fix to this? Or is it a software issue or hardware issue?

Use speedtest.net for real test of the speed

Make sure your phone is connected to the 5ghz WiFi and not the 2.4GHz, most routers have both under the same name on your available network list.

For me it's much faster, also on a 1 Gbps connection, here are my results sitting around 5 meters away from the router on the 5Ghz band

I get normal speeds when I restart my phone but after a few mins later it goes back to being stuck at around 250mbps... if I was on the 2.4ghz I would not get more than 150mbps as thats the cap for 2.4ghz

Mine has been up (last restarted) about 5 days ago and I get the speeds above, try resetting your router or changing the WiFi channel, seems like some sort of congestion or band switching, to verify this, when it gets slow, instead of restarting the phone, try to turn off/on the WiFi on the phone and see if the speed is restored, also there are advanced WiFi settings in the phone, try to play around with those.

Why do you need faster than 250 Mbps on a phone BTW, what's the use-case?

I work for a fibre company and when I try to show them the speeds they can potentially get if they have devices that capable its embarrassing when they ask me what phone I have thats only showing 250mbps
