Bought the official Samsung 45w power brick, using that and the 5A cable thay came with it. Having an intermittent issue where I connect the cable to the phone and it won't register charging. Remove and reinsert and it will charge.

Anyone else had this issue?

Yes until a fix is available the recommendation is to use the 3a cable,  an article on the issue here :

As @Tourbillon De La Vie mentioned it appears it could be down to a known software issue and is due a software fix

Haven't had this problem with my S25 Ultra and original Samsung 45W charger and cable. My charger is about 5 years old, so isn't the newer version though. As others have said, some users are experiencing this issue with 5 amp cables, although mine hasn't exhibited this problem. Personally, I'm finding charging the S25 Ultra to be the best Samsung have offered to date, supporting a much wuder variety of cables and chargers at 45W. Let's hope a future update will rectify this issue for you.

Hi @Snames

The issue was reported and Samsung is releasing update to fix it. Like rightfully said by @JAMES4578 and @Tourbillon De La Vie you should use 3A cable (I'll attach screenshot from Italy Samsung's page)1740007272463.jpg

Was just reading the article, thank you for posting. But it occurred to me it seems quite hyperbolic, or is that just me?
