My Fingerprint Biometrics is still working as it should.
Try a forced reboot by holding down the volume down key and power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.
There is also a Diagnostic Tool found in the Samsung Members App to see if that highlights anything.
May I suggest to perform a forum search as you may find already existing threads with help and advice within.

I am facing the same issue its too annoying for the phone worth this , I added 3 4 finger prints but its not getting open maximum times
