Would a S24 (not plus or ultra) snapdragon purchased in USA work in UK and have warranty cover

Hi

I live in the UK and following research I am interested in buying an S24 Snapdragon rather than an S24 Exynos which I know would have to be imported or purchased abroad.

Please could anyone let me know if the S24 dispersion will work OK in the UK and also if it will be covered under warranty by Samsung?

Hey there

Technically yes, it will work but with caveats.....

1. As @Tourbillon De La Vie has said, no warranty
2. As your device will be out of region, updates may be "interesting" and not straight forward
3. Some functionality may not be available on the device because you're going to be using the US version that has different software
4. And vice versa for number 3
5. The price you see usually doesn't include vat if your buying whilst in America. Factor that in, you won't be saving much.
6. Look at current promotions.. With the S25 series just around the corner, lots of promotions available right now on S24 series

Yes it will work. Warranty is a problem though. Updates work fine. I've got a US spec S23 FE and it gets all the updates.

But many users have come on here to advise they can't get updates, even via SmartSwitch.....

So it might work for you on your device but we don't want the OP splashing the cash then coming back on here and complaining that their device won't update! 🫠
