S24 Ultra UI7 removed Native Call Recording

Hi Team,

I recently purchased the S24 Ultra for as there was basic call record option was inbuilt wiht UI6. now it seems wasted my 100k on samsung premium phone rather would have gone with other brand and models

I can only assume that's a bug. I have it on my s25u. If you had it before, and I have it on one ui 7, it must be a mistake. File a report in the support section of this app

What region are you posting from? Unsure if the 100k is sarcasm for £ or 100k of another currency

If your in the UK then you can't record phone calls as it's a liability until the law gets changed which at present there's no sign of that happening.

Sorry Keith but that isn't correct. Calls can be recorded in the UK but if the recipient isn't aware of the recording it cannot be used as evidence.

Native call recording only became possible   in One UI 7. 

It works on my S24 Ultra  One UI 7 phone here in UK.

When making a call,  a call recording icon appears on the screen when the called party answers the call. When the icon is pressed they hear an announcement that the call is being recorded. 

This is also works on receiving a call with One UI 7 , as soon as you answer a call, the call recoring icon appears and when pressed the calling party hears the message that the call is being recorded.

Note , you cannot set this up to automatically record calls

I bought this phone from Qatar to India last month so when I got phone it was UI6 which with native call record by default as soon as I updated with UI7 the call record option has gone also I confirmed with few other samasung users who bought the phone from same place they all updated with UI7 also got same problem

It's something went wrong with country specifical update because earlier with UI6 the native call record but later after updating UI7 it's gone ..!  We can't even say this as country specific regularity Norms as it's problem with new update
