Didn't see your reply saying the phone was from Qatar and you are in india. That might be the reason why. Since this is the uk forum, we have no idea if call recording works in those countries or not. It might be a legal thing where phones from those countries aren't allowed to do it

Just upgraded to OneUI7 and have the call recording but it gives a prompt now that the call is been recorded.

My previous 6.1 with CSC change was automatic recording and no prompt which was perfect, I have a bad memory so sometimes I can go back to the recording to remember what the person ordered if my notes are not right or just for confirmation. Samsung need to change this prompt for each county as in the UK its legal to record calls without other party knowledge, the prompt is terrible and I refuse to root my device to change it.

I do like the look of OneUI7 but i can see me going back to 6.1 if its possible through a flash and have my native call recording back.

If call recording in 6.1 isn't showing in the dialer you need to change your csc code, samfw tool, I used INS and worked great apart from a couple of apps claiming my phone had been tampered with or rooted and refused to run.
