Whatsapp pop ups

Had anyone experienced the whatsapp pop ups are no longer available since the 7.0 software update ?

I hate new update can't navigate through that . Since morning I can't figure it out

How do you remove it ? It's changed alot in one update

@chamelle: Pop-up notifications were disabled by WhatsApp on devices running Android 10 and above. If you open WhatsApp > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Settings > Notifications, then you will notice that 'Popup notification' says 'Not available' and is greyed out. This was implemented by the developers themselves, and is not a feature of One UI 7. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Yes that's exactly whats happened, so nothing i do will bring back the pop ups 😮

EE send me to samsung Customer service... they send me to you . Since I did update i have no usable phone. This update is disaster

EE have nothing to do with software updates. This is a community chat. Please create your own post rather than jumping on mine. I was after a fix not another person's issues

You can't remove the update once you had installed the latest software update, it actually mentions that fact before you download it.

I didn't think you could... I never read it .my bad.. it's the only thing I don't like not being able to see the pop up on the locked screen x

If your phone is from EE then you should rise that issue though them as they are the ones who issued the software update as they software would have been altered by them for their own network
