Whatsapp issues

Dear Samsung Team,

I am a new user in S24 ultra serious. When I opened my whatsapp and opened an account to msg and suddenly long pressed in the chat box an "paste option" appeared with out copying anything.  But when I pressed the paste button my whatsapp sstopped suddenly and showing whatsapp isn't responding then it closed the app automatically.

Have you contacted the app developers.
Sounds like an issue with the App.
Make sure the app software is upto date from the PlayStore

As Glenntech mentioned, check to see if your app is up to date from the Play Store.

You could also go to Settings / Apps / and scroll down to WhatsApp and Force stop as well as Storage - Clear cache.  

I find that a Force stop and Storage - Clear cache very often is a quick fix.

I don't think it's that serious to be honest, just wait a minute and reopen WhatsApp 🤷

The sum paid to purchase the flagship model is exorbitant. So we expect everything to be perfect, accurate and worth of money. But I will keep ur suggestion in mind as well.

@Mrudhul : This is a difficult one to advise on without knowing what it was that you were attempting to paste into WhatsApp, as it may have been an incompatible file. To see if the issue persists, try copying some text from another source, then head over to WhatsApp and paste it into the text input field of a conversation via a long press > Paste. Let me know how you get on.
