NOTIFICATIONS NOT WORKING ON SOME APPS

I have tried every advice to get notifications working on some apps that are set to alert but refuse to alert, such as banking apps and paypal. Why have a phone that cost £1,300 that doesn't function properly. Samsung if you can't sort simple issues, STOP advertising how wonderful Samsung is when your technology is failing. I'm tech savvy so please don't ask me to try this and try that...sort your 7.0 One UI Version 15 ASAP!!!

Being youre posting in a forum for customers for other customer to see....its either you post for suggestions or theres not much point....
I had similar issues with some of my apps. Going to settings- apps- *app- storage- clear cache. Restart phone- seemed to fix it for me. Be sure to make sure apps are fully updated too

Note samsung dont see here, other customers do. Go to samsung members app- support- feedback

I know but thanks, I'm super annoyed. Going to use my 8 plus as of today which has never failed me. This is why I have always taken my time to buy into their new ranges particularly with AI installed. Samsung love to rave on about new products but fail to look into ongoing issues with current systems.... I can guarantee it's the AI stuff that is causing failures.... bull💩AI (apologise I'm annoyed)

In fairness ai isnt being added by samsung- its being intergrated by Android (google) so all phones are getting it. Ios have their own. tbh ai is in all modern tech at this point

Thats why its important to submit feedback so devs see. Hopefully ui8 fixes it for you once its released

Google... another 💩 spying government entity that wants access to everything. Each time I remove Telegram app from my Google account, they add it back when I view my messages, they try it with WhatsApp too

So what was exactly was the point of this post then? Surely you dont expect peoole to sit around and moan all day with you, pretty sure they've got better ways to spend their weekend 🤣

If you're trying to put in a formal complaint of sone kind better to just go directly to samsung rather than their customers.

Well my bank app is sending me notifications on time. Instagram is the one that takes over 12 hours sometimes but that's maybe because I don't use it much. However, it is annoying to get a message on Instagram hours after it's been sent lol

Smh. I have noticed apps are being put to sleep quite often so have adjusted some to never sleep (once more), I will wait to see if that makes a difference to the alerts I'm missing. If you haven't already check to see if your Instagram is in 'sleep' or 'deep sleep' via your battery settings, it may make a difference to add to 'never sleep' (if you haven't done so yet). I actually don't think its called never sleep but you will see what I'm on about lol
