Hi

1000013054.jpg

I bought the Galaxy S14 Ultra about a month ago

It is interesting to know that my phone gradually lost some color on its lens after wiping it with a tissue, so that every time I wipe it, the discoloration increases.

I took it to the dealership and warranty support they said that it must have been wet or you put detergent on it.

But I didn't even clean it with alcohol, and I only cleaned it with a damp cloth maybe 2 or 3 times.

It upset me a lot that I bought a phone with so much money and this problem happened to it.

It is necessary to mention that I say

No scratches

It is exactly as if there is a color layer on the lens glass that is fading

The lens obviously should be fine with wiping down with a damp microfiber cloth.

Tissues, however, can be abrasive.

If an authorised Samsung Service Centre has assessed the phone, and reported this as not covered under the Samsung Manufacturer's Warranty, then they should have also advised of a fee to rectify the problem.

You could always ask Samsung for a second opinion, too.

If you have other insurance such as Home Contents Insurance, then you may be covered. The T&C's would need to be checked.

If i can be of any further help, please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Thank you for your answer

The texture of the napkin was not abrasive at all

Because other lenses have been wiped with the same

The issue is that it was cleaned 2 or 3 times in 1 month and it is unusual for this to happen

And finally, why is there color and a layer of color on the protective glass of the lens, and why does this increase with each cleaning of the surface?

Anyway, thank you for your reply. I hope the lens designer will come and explain the reason for the color on the lens glass and how it went away
