I have a Samsung S24 FE and I have read the posts on changing the notification sound for each app but I still have a problem. When I go into an apps notifications sound. When I open up that it asks me to complete action using either SecSoundPicker or Zedge. It does not show or offer the sounds that are in the phone. I want to access the sounds that are in the phone. Not ones that are provided by SecSoundPicker or Zedge apps.

Can anyone please help?

TC

Click on the SecSoundPicker, this should be what you'll want to use, it's a Samsung/system app that allows you to change ringtone/notification sounds.

Hi @tceestreet

And may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum 👋

I assune your have activated the setting to allow individual tones for the notifications Section in the app itself.

i.e

Settings > Notifications > Advanced Settings > Turn on Manage Notification Catagories for each app.

Then it should show either the inbuilt tones or the one's downloaded via long holding down on the app i.e email then Notification Categories > New emails > Sound > which presents this pop up to me

As a troubleshooting step try > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

And or try > Try a forced reboot by holding down the volume down key and power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.

Thank you. This solved my problem. I had watched many videos but nobody mentioned the options that I was given. As you said, Clicking on the SecSoundPicker I could see my phones sounds.
