Smart Tag 2 not working on UWB with S24+

Hi, I recently purchased S24+ but the UWB for Smart Tag 2 doesn't seem to work on S24+ , nor does the Camera open for finding the Tag with direction. 

How do I get this to wok please I am on the latest March download.

It seems samsung updated the information on the smartag 2 regarding the  compatible devices..... s24 s24u is not on the list....

I dont get it. Why wouldn't the S24 Ultra support this?

I am pretty sure i saw somewhere that it should. The phone is perfectly capable of AR.

This feature works fine on my old s22 ultra..

Samsung SmartTag2 UWB Issue  Disappointed with S24 Ultra

I recently bought the 4-pack of Samsung SmartTag2, expecting the full experience including the UWB precise finding with camera and arrows. To my surprise, this key feature doesn’t work at all on my Galaxy S24 Ultra. No camera icon, no directional arrows  just basic Bluetooth tracking.

What’s even more frustrating is that the exact same tag works flawlessly on my wife’s older S22 Ultra. The precise finding with AR view is smooth and accurate there  exactly what you expect when buying Samsung’s latest tech. It’s extremely disappointing that a newer, more expensive phone is missing features that work perfectly on an older model.

I contacted Samsung support by phone they had no idea. Via WhatsApp I got redirected to the Members app to post my complaint there. No real help, no solution.

On top of that, since the One UI 7 update, my battery life on the S24 Ultra has dropped drastically. I used to get a full day easily now I struggle to reach the afternoon.

Fyi the S24 still (very likely) uses UWB for precise tracking, it's just the AR that isn't working/available. 

The UWB is utilized to give you specific directions, the best bluetooth tracking I know of just gives you approximate distance but not direction (and definitely not 0.1 m precision).
