Bad battery life s24 ultra

Hello, 

I have this phone for like two weeks, and battery is really bad for some reason. It was on a service once, it was a little bit better, but after the March update, it got worse, in battery settings it says it will last for 16 hours only. It started heating really fast even if im using it for some basic things. Does anyonw knows what is going on?

First check in your Device Care Section under battery to see what's using the phone's battery.

Certain apps such as social media are known as vampire apps that can use lots of resources. 

You could also try > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

As I can currently see, the Instagram is using it the most, probably gotta wait for couple of updates to roll out to optimize it. Already did the other things like cache clean and turning off things I dont use. 

Thanks for reply and I hope it will get better soon because this is my first samsung phone and I'm so sorry for these things happening, but Phone came out month ago, gotta wait a little bit.
