Any apps anyone uses that tells you what's draining your battery and how to increase battery life?

I know you can see apps draining battery in settings, but thats pathetic and doesn't show everything.

Hi @benakaget  I have only really used AccuBattery  (other than the Samsung apps)which I find offers some useful insight  other than the information you will get from Device care on Battery Drain and Battery Health.  Thermal Guardian though can be very good,  some other Apps such as Battery Guru mentioned here https://geekflare.com/consumer-tech/check-batter-health-on-android/

some folk are not keen on the 3rd party apps though.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Everything about the battery section in device health is perfect as it is;

Lists how much % that app has consumed for the day, for their two-hour if you tap on the chart segments.

How long you have used it in the foreground, how long it has been working in the background, and how long the app has forced the device to be 'awake' during screen-off time.

From there you can reference what you dont need/need as often and sleep or deep sleep the app by 'Background usage limits'.

It even gives you more information on how the apps consume battery.

Effectively what it doesn't show is unnecessary fluff like Screen on % and screen off % loss.
Plus, another app running in the background to monitor battery usage is counterintuitive to what the goal is here.

Define everything it doesn't show.

Get the Good Guardians app from the galaxy store then install the battery tracker and battery guardians modules. They're Samsung apps.1752764291345.jpg

I second Samsung's Good Guardians for its Battery Tracker. My biggest background drain is the camera server doing image refining.

The quickest way to save battery is to enable dark mode but this app will help provide many more options than this to help.

The Thermal Guardian can help you limit specific apps that are causing excessive CPU use.

I'm one ui 8 beta and the camera server seems to heat up the phone now and again. It shows up on the thermal guardian module. I've enabled the limit CPU boosting in thermal guardian and it seems to help.

In the app after a day of use it will show what's causing high cpu heat on the phone and drain. These will show on the chart as red dots with advice. The app has some extra options which can help cool the phone down and make it's battery last longer in the additional options.

Are you already running the CPU in the light cpu profile in Settings Device Care as this makes a big difference? I got extra hours of battery life from this and all my apps still ran fine. You would only notice high cpu tasks like video editing being a bit slower.

Do you game as there are some battery options you can do there to help as well in another of Samsung's modules.
