Hi all, my multiple smart tag 2 devices are not using the camera locator on my S24 Ultra. I've installed ARCore etc. Nothing. Worked fine on my S23 Ultra. What's going on? Any ideas, please? Done all the obvious stuff, cleared cache etc. Uninstalled ARCore updates and reinstalled. Still nothing.
Has Samsung co.mented on this? Are we looking at a hardware issue, or will software eventually resolve the issue. Samsung to Samsung incompatibility is just unacceptable. Thanks
Been over 6 months! and still doesn't work! Samsung refuse to update it. Keep reporting it to them. and keep getting told they are looking into it. But so far nothing works. Have you had any luck with it?
Yeah, after many months, they finally got back to me. It's apparently not possible to use this feature with the S24 Ultra. Something to do with antenna and the camera... 😒
Wow I am now stuck with a bunch of galaxy tags that are completely useless to me I was looking forward for this feature but between this and the fact that at a crowded airport and my tags rarely if ever update instead I get my bags are still at home when I'm standing next to them. God forbid I hope someone else's phone will update location but no luck there. I am having better results from a Temu 5 dollar tracker than this. I'm now thinking do I really want to shell out for a fold or just get something that works. Bad on your part samsung I bought the flagship model so I don't miss any features oh well.
