I'm sorry that you're having an issue with the Wi-Fi connection on your S24 Ultra, @debbie2907. I'm just chiming in to say that you can submit an Error report by using the steps provided in the guide below:

When having the same SSID on both the 5 & 2 GHz WiFi access point and the path loss is much higher on the 5 GHz signal the S24 Ultra exhibits very poor data consistency when using a number of different streaming applications. Upon research I determined when using the weaker 5 GHz WiFi connection, data throughput is very inconsistent. For example, looking at the S24 Ultra signal levels of the WiFi signals 5 GHz signal level was -80 dbm. The 2 GHz level was a -62 dbm, Getting the phone to connect to the 2 GHz signal, streaming was stable, but after less than a minute of smooth operation, the S24 would switch the connection to the 5 GHz signal. The data throughput becomes very inconsistent. It seems the S24 has an algorithm to push the WiFi connection to 5 GHz, even when the signal level, and stability is not near as good as the 2 GHz. Signal. When in marginal 5 Ghz conditions, one should be able to turn off the 5 GHz connection priority, or turn off the 5 GHz priority. Never had this issue with my Note 10. It worked good at the same location. I have no control of the SSID or signal levels.

Has there been an update, because I'm still having this problem? It's definitely worse than the S22 Ultra. I never had these problems before!

I am having the same issues, does your phone still do this?
