Annoying when you buy a new phone and it is not as good as your older phone.. S24 wifi issues is very disappointing. Apps will not work while connected via wifi anywhere.. got told to turn the 5hz wifi setting off.. am I to tell every home I go to and say that lol.. businesses.. you don't upgrade to downgrade grrrr

i gave up. 2 Options which worked:
1) Deactivated IPv6 DNS answers in my DNS Servers, so that only ipv4 is served
2) Increased all Radvd lifetimes to infinite (only experienced Users)

The S24 Ultra is WiFi 7 compliant. I found better success by converting all access points to WiFi 7 compliant devices.

I just got a Netgear RS300 about 3 weeks ago. First couple of hours, running IPv6, no issues, then issues, same as everyone else is talking about, apps lock up, won't load, connected no internet. I changed all the various IPv6 settings on the router, and basically off is the only thing that works, passthrough, autodetect, dhcp, all work for some amount of time, an hour to maybe 12, and then quits. I've dumped tons of data on Netgear, and they're trying to help. Best suggestion was try another router. Since very little uses IPv6 at the moment, I'm going the safe route and leaving it disabled for the moment.

Another update. The August Google Play System Update together with the September Security Update have been working great for me. No more IPv6 issues since the last 3 weeks or so, in combination with my FRITZBox 7583 VDSL! Also haven't seen hangs in apps anymore. Hope it'll remain stable from now on. Will continue to keep an eye on it.

Learnt something weird that some type of mobile covers like polycarbonate and with metal attachments can interfere the wifi signals. I removed my cover and tested it from the same location and it seems to be working. I ran a speed test 10 times and got high speeds everytime which was not the case earlier. Can someone else try too and inform. Weird but true currently.
