So far so good. I have been so frustrated, have tried almost everything to get this fixed. Samsung had me factory reset my phone, even though I was able to recover most info from the cloud, i had to set my phone up again and sign into every single app. Such a pain, and it did not help. The guy told me I would have to take my phone to a technician. You really were a big help, and made the process easy with your thorough instructions. If this truly is the issue, then it needs to be broadcasted, bc I am sure others are having the same issue. Thank you again, I'm keeping my fingers crossed this truly is the answer!

EVERYONE WITH WIFI CONNECTIVITY ISSUES ON THEIR GALAXY 24 ULTRAS - PLS READ! I finally found a fix thanks to a very persistant and kind community user on another similar thread. I had tried everything! Please do this, it really works! You have to turn off Wifi 7 button. I am thinking Samsung added this bc it should be available soon, and they wanted the 24's to have it. My guess is it is searching for it, but it is not yet avaiable, so drops wifi during the process. Finding it is not easy, but it works! Please follow these steps, I am copying and pasting what Samed93 sent to me. Connectivity labs was not showing up for me (that's where the button is) so please note the 6th tab on how to unlock it. Please pass this on to any other threads and SAMSUNG PLEASE TAKE NOTE AND NOTIFY YOUR TECHNICIANS OF THIS FIX!

Okay I did notice some problems with the WiFi 6 of the s24 ultra and fold 6,
When I ping to my local network modem adress the ping is around 20/30 ms it's not stable at all, it's connected to WiFi 6 5ghz. Because of that it stutters in moonlight gaming for me, but I tested it on other devices and the ping was always between 1 and 4.
So then I asked my brother he has a fold 6 with the same snap 8 gen 3 if he could ping to his local modem on wifi 6, and same results also a high ping, so it's a Samsung problem because all other devices of us have a low ping, I saw 1 post of this also on this forum.

So, today is February 2025 and this problem is still persistent... I have Galaxy S24 without supporting Wi-Fi 7 with update from 23.01.2025, but the applications such MS-Teams still have connection problem, when I have connection with Wi-Fi. On my old smartphone from Motorola (also Android 14) I do not have this problems.
So, I intentionally made the test:
- get the router with installed open-WRT;
- disable IP-V6 support;
- retransmit the existed Wi-Fi connection with this router in order to filter all IP-V6 packages;
- connect Samsung S24 to this router and... the problems are gone.
But we know, that we cannot disable IP-V6 for all Wi-Fi routers or connections. Using VPN or mobile LTE connection, in order to filter IP-V6, are also bad solutions.
I can not believe, that the company such Samsung, can not handle with this issue for so long time...

My S24 Ultra has the 5GHz Wi-Fi issue as well. It seems like it doesn't like IPv6 being turned on in my router. I just disabled IPv6 and so far the S24 Ultra is working. Still disappointing though for a flagship phone to have this issue. It should just work with or without IPv6 enabled.
