Hello All

So three days into my ownership of the Ultra 1TB and I get the above message on screen some apps have overloaded the CPU and I should restart my phone. The phone was quite warm.
It's a UK S24 Ultra. I've no idea what chipset.
I have googled but can't really find anything that helps.
Where , if at all , can I find out what app or apps have overloaded the CPU.

Should have stuck with my trusty old S20 Ultra .... never had any issues with that 😪

Thanks.

Your Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

Follow the prompt to restart the phone as this may have been a glitch.

Try Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.

What apps are heating the system? If none then it's a bug, mine hasn't got hot once. Still, like you, I wish I kept my previous device (S23U) going from zero issues from launch with the S23U to plenty of issues at launch and only two weeks to return my trade-up device, really is not good. Zero Comms from Samsung and don't know how much longer we have to wait for this huge update, for me personally is the vivid issue.

I've no idea what apps were causing it to come up with that message. I was hoping there was somewhere I could go and look to see like system logs or somewhere that would say what was the issue.

Well you've got the standard battery consumption stats in settings, or there's "battery tracker" & thermal guardian" in the "good guardians" app in the Samsung store, try that. You can also change how your device throttles by 2 degrees Celsius.

@Proz

Using the 🔎 type in Care Report and tap on the one in Device Care to see if that shows anything.
