Hello All

So three days into my ownership of the Ultra 1TB and I get the above message on screen some apps have overloaded the CPU and I should restart my phone. The phone was quite warm.
It's a UK S24 Ultra. I've no idea what chipset.
I have googled but can't really find anything that helps.
Where , if at all , can I find out what app or apps have overloaded the CPU.

Should have stuck with my trusty old S20 Ultra .... never had any issues with that 😪

Thanks.

Didn't Good Guardians include an app for monitoring the temperature of the phone. Think it was called Thermal Guardian. Don't know if it's compatible with the new S24 but search for Good Guardians in the Galaxy Store and check it out.

Smarthswitch can mess up apps.

I always prefer a factory reset and manually adding apps as and when I need them.
Rest is all backed up and restored from cloud.

Also I never restore settings as well.

If you don't wanna do the above Do a WIPE CACHE and REPAIR APPS.

I've found the culprit using Good Guardians. It appears to be a media codec followed by Synology Photos app.
Not sure what to do about it though.
I've done a cache wipe but didn't see any option for "Repair Apps" 1707836853938.jpg

Are you still having issues with this codec? I'm having similar issues with overheating and use Synology Photos as well!

Hi K1ngs ... I never found the culprit but it was definitely something to do with Synology Photos. Now that's finished doing whatever it was doing all is fine.

I've been getting the same prompts! I'm unsure on how to solve this as my UK s24 ultra is also barely a week old. How did you solve the problem?

The culprit in my case was Synology Photos, which eventually resolved after the app was updated and I haven't really had that issue since! If you use Synology, check to see if that app is updated. If not, maybe look into any other applications that sync/upload large amounts of data and see if they seem to be functioning properly.

Other issues I would have that somehow appeared to related to that Synology problem was that videos across all apps would fail to load/play (including instragram, youtube, gallery, etc), so if you have that problem there might be something similar going on with your device.
