I have been using Xiaomi phones for the past 7 years, and this week I upgraded to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. I'm really impressed with the One UI 7 interface and its features—it’s smooth, modern, and user-friendly.
However, I’m quite disappointed to see that there is no built-in App Lock feature. In today’s world, where privacy and security are more important than ever, an app lock is a basic yet essential feature for any smartphone. It helps protect sensitive apps like messaging, banking, gallery, and more from unauthorized access.
I sincerely request the Samsung team to consider adding a native App Lock feature in a future update to One UI. It would greatly enhance user privacy and bring the software experience in line with other leading Android brands.
