Samsung, please disable access to Sound/Silent settings when phone is locked. It's locked for a reason and there should be a request for fingerprint or PIN whenever it's changed from lock mode.

What if this phone gets lost and the the person who found/took it can easily silent the phone? Where's the security feature in there?

If the phone gets lost, you can gps track it via samsung or google's system. Using either of those to make the device ring bypasses silent mode too

Initially, you'd ring the phone. Tracking it for me is a second option, and phone might be lost at that point.

If someone intentionally muted the phone to prevent calling it, they probably would have walked or ran away from you with the phone. Or they would have shut the phone down to prevent any tracking. Yes it's not as fast but you can login to the find app or website on another phone or device.

Yes normally trying to shut down a locked phone doesn't work, but there's an emergency shutdown that always works on every phone.

Sound isn't really a security thing.

Network settings are locked for security, that's ensure the find features keep working
