I don´t think so, it's the amoled panel problem.

I was trying two other units in the meantime, one had less of a tint, but the grain was a lot worse. In the end I ended up getting a refund. There is something going on with these panels, and I think it's partially because they are calibrated much cooler than previous ones, which makes the effect worse because of the blue light sticking out much more than usual. I was really looking forward to the S24U because of the flat screen, only to be severely disappointed by what they put underneath it.

Look at these pictures and tell me again how I should check my glasses.

It's not the coating for sure because my a34 has the same ugly screen effect on minimal angles. Next time I buy a new phone I'll check them in the stores and not rely on review sites which don't mention these flaws, instead they rave about good screen.
It's just a complete turn off. Okay on big angles I wouldn't care but with normal hand use I see colors shifting all over the place. Such shame, can't return phone (import).
It's just ridiculous they go from good screens to this rubbish.

I just bought an s24 ultra and I also have the same issue. it's annoying especially at night time with the brightness lower than 20%. my unit also has that grain effect that some users have reported, but it doesn't bother me at all coz it's hardly noticable. But that color shifting when you turn your phone 2 degrees when typing it's really annoying. it reminds me the early days of poor 3d phones like the LG 3d. But the problem is that I think that even if I requested for a new unit it won't be much different coz I believe Samsung screwed up big time with the anti reflective coating and I truly believe that that's the thing that causes the poor viewing angles and colorn shifting when you tilt the screen. And that makes me really sad coz s24 ultra is the most complete and beautiful phone I ve ever used

It is pointless to trade, it's their new design/product. We have to accept it or buy something else. On samsung website they clearly state that it is normal (to them) that their oled screens have this. An cheap samsung phone with lcd screen is more enjoyable to me but those are slow.... so next time look in stores at other brands, or maybe next samsungs have better screen. Really annoys me, such a step back, like way back....
