It's a software issue. The warranty wont cover it. Their last major update (UI6) bricked my old phone, along with many others. They never fixed it. Some folks went to a local Samsung place to try and get it fixed but no luck. Maybe you can talk them into giving you a new phone
Im done with Samsung after this if they dont patch it. This is the seco d time they ***** my phone up. It took almost 2.5 hours to charge my phone from 3% to full last night

I'm fortunate that T-Mobile exchanges my phone when there are issues, I didn't have to take my phone anywhere. I will also note that depending on your issues don't be scared to make it a warranty issue, for example, if it's a software issue you're having but they won't replace it, then tell them it won't power on etc. make it their problem. Listen, for the price I paid for my phone, you better believe I will lie just like they do to get my phone replaced. One way or another they are taking my defective phone back, you better believe that.

They told me they are aware if the problem and are working to resolve it by the end of the month! WTF?!
