I noticed that after updating to one ui 7 I'm constantly having charging issues. I've used the same charger (cable and adaptor) and had no problems at all. I also tried using it on my buds which charges fine as well.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Has anyone tried contacting Samsung about this? Or booked a repair? My S24 Ultra is still on its manufacturer's warranty, so I wonder if anyone has actually tried this? I just submitted a feedback here too that apparently goes to the development team of Samsung, again, has anyone tried this route? I just want to know if they are actually fixing this issue lol

Having the same issues, definitely software issue, as phone was fine. Now have intermittent or no charging. Works wirelessly but not on a charger, chargers all new as I replaced at first sign of issues.
Even booked phone in for repair under warranty, but seems pointless if it's the update..

I had another software update last night, worked fine for a while, i cancelled courier collection for repair, to find its back to not charging, water detection flashing with an alarm, yet the phone is dry and not been near water.
Its definitely a bug in the update.
Hoping a new update resolves it , as booking in for a repair seems pointless if it's not parts.
Think I will try samsung direct...

It's a software issue. The warranty wont cover it. Their last major update (UI6) bricked my old phone, along with many others. They never fixed it. Some folks went to a local Samsung place to try and get it fixed but no luck. Maybe you can talk them into giving you a new phone

Im done with Samsung after this if they dont patch it. This is the seco d time they ***** my phone up. It took almost 2.5 hours to charge my phone from 3% to full last night

I'm fortunate that T-Mobile exchanges my phone when there are issues, I didn't have to take my phone anywhere. I will also note that depending on your issues don't be scared to make it a warranty issue, for example, if it's a software issue you're having but they won't replace it, then tell them it won't power on etc. make it their problem. Listen, for the price I paid for my phone, you better believe I will lie just like they do to get my phone replaced. One way or another they are taking my defective phone back, you better believe that.

Same issue here. Only thing I've found to sort it is to restart the phone, works fine for a few days then have to restart again, only occurred after update, same thing happened on my tab s8 ultra after the update, although this has only happened once on that.

  • I have an S22 and the same charging and battery drain issues.  It is absolutely the software update and it is inexcusable

They told me they are aware if the problem and are working to resolve it by the end of the month! WTF?!
