Thank you very much for that insightful response, as a result I definitely think it is the software. I actually factory reset my phone last night, it no longer says water or debris detected, but my fast charge feature is still gone. Wonder if this will have a long lasting effect on my phone and battery, as there is no way I can be stuck with this nonsense if I am on a 36 month contract. I barely have my phone 2 months, and I am honestly regretting my decision to go with Samsung again. I really hope this issue gets resolved with the next update as this slow charging might have a negative impact on my battery's lifespan. I hope all this complaints does not fall on deaf ears too and that Samsung does something to fix the problem

Your tests are definitely interesting. I think each model is having slightly different issues, for example, on my daughter first new phone, the data port didn't work and we had to backup all her photos wireless to the new phone, that was fun, two hours in T-Mobile. Then the second replacement the data worked but didn't charge at all. So I've noticed different behaviors with different phones. My x wife's phone is a s25 ultra and after the update she has no charge issues but drops calls constantly and can hardly make calls. What an absolute mess. The first part is Samsung won't admit to an issue. So sad. I've had Samsung since Note 2 and every Note after until Fold. I don't have update issue however this phone has it's own set of issues, I won't bore you with all of them. Good luck out there. Lol

Im having charging issues that started immediately after the update. I have 3 c chargers that all don't "work" . It's definitely the update

Same with my last phone, an update bricked it and Samsung wouldn't do *****. I was dumb enough to buy an s24 to replace it. Now after this last update on my s24 causing charging issues, (and researching all the issues with Samsung phones over the last decade), I don't think I'm going to buy another one after this. But since I hate iPhone, I may just go back to a Motorola razr lol

I don't see a wipe cache partition in the master recovery/system menu at start up

While the phone is restarting, hold the volume up key and the lock screen button at the same time. Keep holding until the screen pops up. (For s24 anyway)
