S24 Ultra:: intermittent charging issues after updating to one ui 7

I noticed that after updating to one ui 7 I'm constantly having charging issues. I've used the same charger (cable and adaptor) and had no problems at all. I also tried using it on my buds which charges fine as well.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Can you be more specific what kind of charging issues they are?

It just wouldn't charge at all. Then, after a few plugs/unplugs and phone restarts, it will start to work again only to stop after a few minutes then I need to unplug and plug it again.

Have you tried a different charger or cable? Do you still get the same outcome

Yes, I also used the same charger to charge my buds, which works fine. It's quite difficult to ascertain if it's the charger or the phone is buggy since it's an intermittent issue.

It sounds like a problem with your charging port.

Try cleaning it or back up factory reset and see if that fixes the issue

I don't really think so, as I've only experienced this since updating to the new UI

I don't think this update would personally cause this. i haven't heard anyone have the issue does this also happen with wireless charging

I actually saw some posts here that says they experienced it as well. And yes, I agree with you that in theory charging/ports should not be affected by this, but as with every update, there are risks that might cause this. But yeah who knows haha
