It's a software issue so unless the repair center is going to install some sort of patch, they won't be able to fix it

I managed to fix mine!
On a whim I decided to give my USB port a thorough cleaning with some 70% isopropyl alcohol and a small swab to really get in there. I did this under a microscope to be extra thorough, but you could probably do it without one.
Sure enough, it charged normally immediately after. What I suspect happened is that the update did something to change either the moisture/debris detection or the connectivity/resistance thresholds for charging, which is why certain cables worked and not others. It also explains why some people's phones were affected and not others.

Do you get the Fast Charing message? I don't even really care about the message, I just want it to charge fast

I got the normal fast charging message. I'll confirm the actual charging speed when I can.

I see they talking all fancy about this new UI 8 update that is going to happen soon but seems they still don't recognize the damage the stupid UI 7 update did on my phone. Samsung just refuses to acknowledge all our complaints!!! FLippen pathetic honestly. What is the use of having this forum. Such a waste

Yeah, UI6 basically bricked my other Samsung and I was stupid enough to buy an S24. Samsung did nothing about that either

I've started having the same issue today, all the chargers work on my S22 Ultra as they should, but my S24 Ultra is barely charging, sometimes not charging at all

Tried to log a repair with Samsung explaining I couldn't really be without my phone, no dice with them they sent a courier twice to pick up my phone whilst I was away from home then promptly cancelled the repair.
Think I'm going to just wait & see if a Software fix emerges.

Based on past experience, Samsung will not address this
