Just found this interesting video on Samsungs notorious shutter lag and the science behind and the fixes Samsung has implemented. 

It's more geared for newbies than some of us probably on the bandwagon longer.

Liked the explanation about the lag due to the shutter button being used as a video when dragged. Which makes sense.
