Hi LovelyPeople.
I found it a bit of issue with Samsung keyboard for typing and recently done some adjustments which seem to have helped.
So I turned off the voice input, show keyboard and the keyboard icon on the keyboard settings.
What this does it brings the keyboard lower down the screen and makes it more easier to type and/ or use swipe better.
Also I have the size half way in between. ( this you can play around depending on how long your finger reach it.
I hope this helps people who have been struggling like me with typing on the samsung keyboard but love other aspects of it.
