We all know Samsung flagships and shutter lag go hand in hand but only recently I realised how bad it actually is. I captured loads of pictures of friends and their kids recently only to realise almost 90% photos of kids came out blurred. They were walking running but less than half priced pixel 8a nailed those shots, any tips as to how this could be improved? I think Samsung should stop calling this flagship camera.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Seems it's been a long time problem for Samsung phones. Often mentioned in reviews. I've noticed there not good at capturing photos of moving objects. Worse in low light.
Worth checking out DXOMark for phone camera scores.

I have tried to take some motion pictures with S25U and although the shutter button has no lag, all pictures came out blurry, so I guess the problem is the software not the shutter button. For the previous phones, the shutter button has lag and also the motion pictures are blurry.

Regards to this, Samsung said we can use the Single Take option or record a video and than select the picture/s we want, instead of taking motion pictures, so it lookes like they are aware of the problem and they are looking for solutions. Also the fact that they improved the shutter button on the S25U means that they are actively looking to improve this motion pictures problem.

Think there may be 2 problems. Shutter lag, that's the time difference between pressing the camera button and the camera capturing the photo. The blurry motion pictures will be to do with the shutter speed. You need a quick shutter speed to capture a Sharpe image when the picture as motion in it.

I don't think using the single shot is a good option. The problem is that other than the ultra Samsung asn't upgraded the cameras since the S22. I don't think software's the answer to the blurry photos. I think it's an inherent problem with the camera hardware.
