S24+ Owner here, I bought the phone via my network service provider less than a month ago.
I use the phone a lot for internet calling (Teams meetings, whatsapp calling etc)
Experiencing the problem where the signal says "5G" or "4G+" etc., but no internet connection.
This happens randomly during the day 10-15 times... and I've tried all the tricks I could find online... the problem persists.
My data plan is unlimited, I have no data limit set in the settings.
Tried resetting network settings & APN settings multiple times.
I can imagine it's less visible when you stream videos etc. because of the data buffer.. but if you make internet calls (Whatsap, teams, etc.) it really gets on your nerves.
I am a long time samsung/android products user.. I have not expected to face this issue with samsung.
Please help.

So it works but intermittently? What is the signal strength where you are? Are you abroad in roaming?

I installed an app through the Google Play Store, Signal Strength, that app comes with a widget that I use.
Also, there's an app / link, fast.com from Netflix that measures your connection in real time.
These apps won't solve your problem but may give some additional insight.

This just entered my mind - whenever I have that message at home, it's typically because of my IP / router. If I disable Wi-Fi in Settings / Connections, I'm then going through my phone provider.
If I still have that problem, I know it's not me, but outside, so to speak.

So the signal shows 5G or 4G+ however there is no internet access whatsoever.
It is very noticeable (annoying) during Teams & whatsapp calls.. happens so frequently per day multiple times during a single call / meeting even.
And no I am not abroad, talking about local data use.

I have seen this in multiple community blogs.
Does not seem to resolve the issue..
I hope I am proven wrong and the issue gets magically resolved - because I really want to like my new phone...

I have also tried turning wifi off.. it did not help in this case unfortunately...
It is quite frustrating that this should be the flagship phone from Samsung.. but has issues on this relatively "basic" level.
I have to say I expected more from a Samsung flagship phone.

Who is your phone provider? Here in the Netherlands there are only a few really big ones, the other smaller companies lease bandwidth from the larger ones. I always go with the 'name brand'.
The problem could just your phone provider and not your phone per se.

My network provider is "KPN", I had a Google Pixel 6 pro before the S24+ also with KPN.. the connection was flawless.
In my household we have several other phones (couple Iphones & a samsung) all using KPN with no issues..
Having that said, I could rule out the network service provider being the source issue..
