S24+ Owner here, I bought the phone via my network service provider less than a month ago.
I use the phone a lot for internet calling (Teams meetings, whatsapp calling etc)

Experiencing the problem where the signal says "5G" or "4G+" etc., but no internet connection.

This happens randomly during the day 10-15 times... and I've tried all the tricks I could find online... the problem persists.
My data plan is unlimited, I have no data limit set in the settings.
Tried resetting network settings & APN settings multiple times.

I can imagine it's less visible when you stream videos etc. because of the data buffer.. but if you make internet calls (Whatsap, teams, etc.) it really gets on your nerves.

I am a  long time samsung/android products user.. I have not expected to face this issue with samsung.

Please help.

Its a pain but I found if I toggled airplane mode on and off, it would solve it for a while. I'll see what they say when it comes back from repair.

Toggling Airplane mode on/off does indeed restore connection.. but when doing a couple teams meetings / internet calling and having to drop off due to that issue it becomes such a big inconvenience..

Only asking for a stable connection.. 😞

No, its definitely not ideal. I've had an email off Samsung to say my device is repaired and ready to return. See what happens 🤷‍♂️

I am S24+ user and facing the same problem daily. Once signals are dropped, and later there is full coverage , the phone shows full signal strength later but says no network connection. I called Samsung support and network provider support but of no use. Despite 100s of people raising this problem on various forums, Samsung doesn't seem to recognise this problem. I haven't seen any solution so far, which is really frustrating, and I am thinking of changing the phone.

I have this same problem too. Toggling airplane mode fixes temporary. I have ATT service.

Anyone find a solution or get answers from Samsung or ATT?

Have my Samsung s24+ 512gb since August. Exactly the same problem. Until now still no solution to the problem from my serviceorganisatie kpn. And no solution from Samsung.

My s24 does the same and I just stumbled into a solution. On my work to school, there is a stretch where the signal drops down to 5G. Today when it happened and I had no reception,I went into connections>mobile network and turned off network scanning and then back on. It dumped 5G and selected LTE and suddenly I was able to download from the net.  Let see if it is a permanent fix.

Just wondering if anyone found a solution or if a fix is in the works ? I just bought the Snapdragon S24 Plus Nov. 5th. 2024 T Mobile US and I have had weak signal around -106 dbm from the get go..and recently as low as -115 or -122 I have been able to use my go5g Plus unlimited premium data plan and I use alot of data but lately I am now experiencing missed calls, dropped calls and buffering or slow page loading.

I have done literally everything possible to trouble shoot except trying a new SIM card through another carrier.

My provider says I am not being throttled and I believe them now as this issue is starting to appear more frequently. God I hope this isn't planned obsolescense.

I really want to stick with Samsung but if this is what $1000 gets me Im starting to think Apple might be better after all. Yikes can't believe I said that. Now you know I'm frustrated.

I thought it works if I changed it to LTE but it is not a 100%fix. I took it back to Samsung in Dec, they changed the internal antenna and it did not fix anything. I am so tempted to go to Costco and buy a $300 Motorola to try it. If that works, it means s24 is a dud. I can go to them and get a s24 and get 950$ back and a rebate and hope they fix the issue with the new model. I refused to buy an apple for political reasons.
