How do I revert or rollback the OneUI 7 update?
The notification & settings swipe down feature, in conjunction with the app drawer vertical layout, is a pretty egregious muscle memory and reflex change. I would like to revert to OneUI 6 or disable these settings. Does anyone know how to revert the OneUI Update? I've read some mentions of a tool named Odin?
I would like to keep my Samsung, but honestly ... if future updates are more interested in changing HOW I am forced to interact with my phone rather than giving me new features or security enhancements, it might be time to look at competitors.

How can I find Odin? Desperately need to revert back to 6

Agreed, the only positive change here is literally just.. "Yay I can change my lock screen more now".. In which, everything else is worse. The only exception to this is the new app icons. Other than that, Worse. Worse battery life, Worse display, Makes the phone slower.. I did not need more bloatware pre installed onto my phone, I already have ~15 apps i just.. don't use, and Can't disable. Which takes up an enormous amount of space on my phone. (I'm talking about LITERALLY 10% of the space on my phone.) May not seem like that much, but just over 120 GB's is already not that much. I'd prefer to know where to get Odin too. I Really appreciate the first guy giving solutions to the notifications bar.. but this is just too much. an update Shouldn't have to be "Fixed".

Thanks for the essentials help here I was already looking for new sony phones.
Any idea How to get rid of the ugly round shapes everywhere? Do i need to wait again 5 years until its back en vogue and im forced to use the "new" style? Is this an 2006 iphone copy now?
I should listen to my wife: never update your phone.

The update is sh*te. Looking for how to revert, I'd sooner be vulnerable to security problems than this. It's garbage.

The only way I have found, and I haven't done it yet because of the possible hassle, factory reset your phone back to the os it started with, disable updates and go from there.
You just have to make sure you have numbers, msgs, pictures etc. All backed up.
We shouldn't need to do this and there should've been an opt out button for anything other than a security fix.
My Flip 4 has not been right since the update with notifications failing to sound if the phone is folded, my missus's S23+, in locked mode, won't play notifications and she can't use a theme pack she paid for.
No one seems to like the battery icon or how it now takes longer to charge but quicker to drain the battery.
They've screwed the pooch on this one.
