I think Samsung wasn't right with users of the Samsung S24 to S24 Ultra series that fell seven years of updates, but so far has not been able to give version 15 to users (OneUI 7).

Apples services business has shown unprecedented success this quarter which gives them the cushion to sit and do nothing for years and Samsung is nowhere near that in terms of numbers. Sammy should most definitely get back to their old ways of putting innovation and customers first, else they will have to continue to rely on freebies to attract / retain customers

So now they move to a quarter 2 release. Having upgraded my Samsung flagship phone every year since the S6, I didn't update my s24u this year. Ai on my phone is not a priority to me, and the ability to draw goofy pics is a gimmick at best. It's a business tool, so the security and app updates are important. All the flashy UI and AI can wait. So why complain? It's the promise of 7 years of updates and the acute lack of transparency that is the real issue. Will we get a yearly update? If this carries on much longer, it looks like some phones might not get the upgrade before Google release their next version. Then do Samsung move the devs to the new release, leaving some users behind?

I have an S24u and a Fold 6. Samsung is starting to bug me, so maybe it is better to support the British industry. Therefore, the Nothing phone may be my next purchase.

I knew apple would pass up samsung since s22U they have done nothing and I hope apple takes over the cellphone market I gave up on samsung last year
