I have to addmit this situation gets more bizarre everyday and it looks like Samsung have lost the plot and have no idea of what to do next. This is the worst beta program l have been on and l can honestly say it will be my last for Samsung.

It would be more useful if they release the final update as promised, I don't see why we have to run around fixing there mess just because some one at Samsung can't be bothered to fix the problems themselves

Your wrong about that Grzegorz79 what's the point of spamming anyone let alone Samsung when they don't reply to emails although I do agree they need to pay more attention to there customers and commuacte with them more.

I applied to come off the beta program a sort while ago got a notification from the beta team saying l could went back to nougat it worked for a short while then my mobile automatically updated back to Oreo beta for some reason. While checking out some other forums there are loads of other people having the same problems and not just from the UK this whole situation is now just total sh-t

In this article it state's that the UK may not receive the Oreo update until April that's at least a month after the release of the S9 WHAT A SAMBELS

I emailed the CEO 4 days ago and haven't had a reply not even the standard courtesy email it's like Samsung have forgotten the UK set a testers or don't care about us any more l have been a beta tester on and off for samsumg for years and l can honestly say this is the worst beta program l have done for them and it will be my last.

The screen shots they have posted from Russia today all show that it's the ***** build and not the new one l am not sure if they have flashed it themselves if they have then they have flashed the wrong one.

There are reports now saying people in Russia are now receiving the new update but when l checked it's actually the 1st one with ***** build number. Not sure when the UK will receive it as Samsung have refused to give out any information other then you will receive it soon which is total bull ××××

There are reports on XDA and Sammobile saying that Samsung have started to release the new update now but as far as l can make out they have only released it in Germany for now and it says that other countries will follow shortly after but they have not given any dates of when we will receive it

It never stopped in the first place, l have done a few beta tests in the past for Samsung and l have to addmit this one is the worst so far for bullying and disrespecting other people's views.

Yes l read that report but that's the problem it was a Support Person (contact centre) they only have a very limited amount of information on the situation and that's all they are aloud to give out nothing more and you may ask how do l no this up until recently l worked for a well known mobile company doing the same job here in the UK. It's about time Samsung showed it's customers some respect and hold there hands up and say sorry we made a mistake and we will keep you informed of the progress and release the new update as soon as possible not just leave everyone in the dark like they have done.

That's not ture Samsung have already stated that project treble would not be part of its Oreo update for the S8/S8+ but may be used some time in the future

Can you explain how it will trip Knox? especially when knox is no longer supported by samsung and you can completely remove it from your phone so therefore twrp can not trip something that's not installed on your phone

Yeah l no how to flash phones been doing it for years, my s8+ is the only phone l haven't flashed yet but that day is coming. Anyway why should people have to flash there phone just to get an update Samsung are to lazy to release
