Hello everyone, Has an official release date been announced for One UI 7?

Just like me. I am using the S24 ultra and I ordered the S25 ultra for my significant one. I am a hard-core Samsung user but for the coming years I will think twice before buying a new phone. The 4 or 5 years old Google Pixel 6 series were updated to Android 15 months ago.

Samsung is still selling the S24 Ultra 512GB for €1,680 on its website in my country, that's how much the S25 Ultra costs 512GB

you say this cause you have the s 25 ultra I bet yours will be glitchy being a new device, im a s24 ultra user im good with a delayed release ui 7 now in beta 4 I want a stable update not a rushed 14 ui 6 like last year

I feel your pain but your being said id rather wait for ui 7 android 15 based...14 ui 6 was rushed out on November 2023 2 moths before the s 24 ultra even went out on preorder or announced yet...so I think samsung is making sure a good solid update for 15 ui 7.0 rolls our Q1 2025  I can wait 14 ui 6 messed with my s 22 ultra badly and was fine the day before on 13 ui 5 .... but my s 24 ultra new out of box had 14 ui 6.1 and has been a rocky road since the day I got it and many others say it was a mess last year 14 ui 6 and s24u.. the s 25 ultra haaa ill pass to me looks like an iPhone and no bluetooth on s pen?? and looks the same its just the hype of s25u our s 24 ultras have the classic look of a note / ultra should have the nice square corner scree and device not the iPhone rounded look like the s25 ultra has...im holding on my s 24 ultra... 25 series ill pass...

No, I say this because it's true. And yes there are small and minor issues as well as design decisions with the S25 Ultra that are a bit annoying. Glitchy? Haven't really comes across that would classify in my book. Every apps worked flawless and nothing has failed on me. Only had some weird scrolling state one time, but hasn't happened again. Other than that, it's been a smooth and very stable phone, like almost every year.

I ran the beta on my S24 Ultra and never had a single problem with that either though, so I wasn't expecting anything to be broken.

samsung should have a list of eligible devices for 15 ui 7 on a samsung site still waiting on my s 24 ultra but ill wait a bit longer 14 ui 6 was rushed I think samsung is doing right still testing ui 7 based android 15, so we have a good real solid update but of course they know people would rather update than buy 25 ultra too so delay ui 7 who knows I would buy the 25 ultra it looks too much like a iPhone with flat sides and rounded corners??? uh not for me ill hold on to my s 24 ultra

ya my s 24 ultra got the 2nd January update the 31st..we all are in the same boat man the s 25 ultra isn't all that I checked one out its like a iPhone look and feel I like my s24 ultra 100 percent more

When you say needy people, you yourself deny the fact that having timely updates is the right of every samsung user who has choosen this brand under the promise of 7 years of OS and security updates.

If samsung cant provide prompt updates to the flagship devices just after its first commercial year of release how can we trust them for 7 years? And this I am saying because the foundation of one ui 7s stability was based on the beta testing on the s24 series. How do you now justify the delay? 

Plus Andriod 15 is already available on novice manufacturers such as nothing (even to their cheaper phones) Google is alredy in their beta of andriod 16 and you call people needy for asking what was promised? Seriously brother?

Samsung have been releasing regular updates for their devices on a monthly basis. When you complain that software is buggy and unfinished because needy people can't wait for a finished product, I'm doubtful Samsung will get any praise for a "timely" rushed OS.

What exactly do you think you're missing right now? I mean seriously, do you have any incompatible apps? Anything only available for Android 15 precisely? Is your device showing any performance deficiency? How about any camera settings, missing anything there you'll ever use?
