We understand that a rushed OS is not the solution and Samsung is wise to take time in providing the best software solution to its users, but the question here is not about that. I belive samsung needs to understand that releasing a flagship phone with the OS that was beta tested for 3 versions on the last year flagship and not providing any light on the release schedule of one ui 7 to older devises has left people thinking being ignored. One should understand that when you pay a premium for a premium experience and then you suddenly are made to believe that you are not the priority anymore is indeed frustrating. This is exactly what is happening. Either provide a schedule or dont release the UI to newer phones to grab the market and discourage people with older phones promising 7 years of commitment.

Just imagine its the 1st year, what would be the pace after 3 years? Thats the question here bro.

If you are so much content with the existing OS why ever expect an upgrade? Well dear thats the beauty of tech, everyone whant to be on the edge. And if you think one ui 6 is equivalent to its latest iteration then why samsung boasted it so much on the launch of 25 series. The only thing that samsung upgraded this year atleast the highlight was just tue one ui 7 right? And how was samsung able to achieve to make a stable one for 25 by beta testing on 24 right? Now tell me why people should not question it? All they ask is the timeline or an official statement to end the speculation nothing more!

So it's really a matter of envy? S25 series got it so why haven't we! It's just a repaint, seriously, some things are arguably worse. I just don't get the obsession for it to be here right this minute. It's functionally identical but I guess everyone has the right to be anxious over something. First world problems I guess...

Because it's their latest phone and they're designing it from the ground up with Android 15 in mind maybe? No baggage from older design or worrying about older software integration into the new OS? Is that so difficult to comprehend?

I buy upgrades for the hardware improvements, the software on top typically holds little importance. As long as it's running a relevant version of Android, something within the last couple years, it'll function practically identical, give or take a few features sometimes. It's a good thing Samsung never leave us with phones that out of date though...

I dont really understand why you feel people are obsessed. And when you say somethings are arguably worse then samsung has to be even more aware since they have failed the new customers while disappointing the existing ones. All I wanted to express and tell is the question is not for an envy, obsession or a first world problem. The question is of the commitment and I dont understand why people are trying so hard to defend samsung for being silent when transparency is everyones right.

And yes coming to your comprehension if samsung build the 25 series around android 15 without being obliged to carry any baggage from the older OS then how has it "arguably worse".

Its hight time we be anyones fanboys and face the fact that everyone paid a premium for these phones the hardware is practically the same on a 600 dollar iqoo phone so people when go with a samsung they want the experience to be flagship level and such customers are frustrated, its not about obsession its just about clarity brother.

Not all changes are good changes. Functionally they've removed the gesture to activate AI, this is objectively worse than what we have on older devices. That's quite a major issue for a phone touted for it's AI.

Even the S21 Ultra can activate AI (yes, Gemini, I have it activated on the S21 ultra)

S24 Ultra is also AI, IT'S SAMSUNG'S FIRST AI PHONE, THAT'S HOW THEY ADVERTISED IT LAST YEAR, AND NOW THEY SAY IT CAN'T DO HALF OF THE AI THAT THE S25 HAS

I was actually able to apply for the beta version, but then when I tried, the banner disappeared.

As a long-time samsung user, I have gone through 3 samsung phones: The S4, A51 4G, and my current S24 Ultra

I really wish that samsung did something, most of us that want to try ONE UI 7 are loyal samsung customers who have been with the company for years.

I bought it trusting Samsung's update promise. I'm waiting for this update because notifications are not delivered instantly. There are many people like me. Since no definite solution has been provided, people don't feel the need to ask questions. There are a few apps on the Galaxy Store to receive notifications, but they don't work. I wish Samsung would focus on providing a solution instead of releasing these apps.
