Can you bring back the old UI? My phone has dropped 45% in around 4 hours of me being at work this is appalling, my phone is like 6 month old before the update I could easily get 24 hours of charge with youtube music on in the background, also is there a way I can get my music controls back under the clock instead of at the bottom of the screen I have large hands and this isn't convenient at all, and why can't I have side scrolling on my app page and have them in alphabetical order, this needs addressing before I sent the phone back, this new UI is really bad it's the worse update I've ever experienced

Hi! Welcome to the samsung members community!

---------------------------
*Battery
Credits @Moiramon, @Iminvti and @Piper123
Dial *#9900# then scroll down to battery stats reset. Click then restart your phone.
*Make sure Auto Blocker is off in settings- security and privacy.

Also- The first 14 days after update the battery will be calibrating.
---------------------------
Media
*on the home screen- you literally just have to press on the album cover on the now bar and itll expand the image to as it was before the update and let you control as normal- screenshots attached
---------------------------
App draw
*set your app draw to custon and then organise yourself to alphabetical if thats what you want. Then its swiping and alphabetical- or however you want it. Not an ideal but an option

I believe the app draw change was by Android 15- aka google- aka all Android devices.

Hi, @LiamS24ultra. It's unusual that you're experiencing battery drain after the software update, but when this does happen, there are steps in place. @Tourbillon De La Vie is referring to existing posts that other Community users and Samsung Members Stars have made here: lots of great information lurks around these parts. 🔋

Firstly, have you been through any steps yourself to address this? If so, please let us know.

Secondly, are you able to attach an additional screenshot that better illustrates the Battery usage (and what has contributed to the battery being consumed more heavily than expected)?

Thank you for the reply but I won't be reordering my apps by hand it would take far too long and as for the media controller it's still in a ridiculous place the option to drag it somewhere else should be given, this update is abysmal at best

More suggestions over solutions. As- as of right now thats the only option for customisations.

A lot have submitted feedback so who knows? Being some of these were by googles choice, not samsungs- its not totally clear

Using the Samsung Phone App (not the Google one)

Dial *#9900# then scroll down to battery stats reset. Click then restart your phone.

Credits to @Moiramon and @lminvti for this information from previous threads.

Male sure Auto Blocker is turned off when doing this

I have done this hopefully it does something because at this rate I'll be moving to another phone manufacturer.

Thank you for the tip
